I had very little experience when I started sailing my MiniCat in 2020. I had two main concerns, storage during the typhoon season and the risk of getting stuck somewhere in the shallow waters of the Ishigaki island coral reef.
The MiniCat solves these issues, and if at first I thought it would be to the price of reduced performances, it is not. The MiniCat is easy to learn with, fast, scalable with multiple accessories (love the gennacker in low winds), and it definitely looks nicer than most sail club mini catamaran. I can't say for other environments, but it's just the perfect mini catamaran for sailing coral reefs in tropical climate with kids and friends.
Now I also offer sail tours to my holiday villa customers, and I have nothing but exceptional feedback on the experience.
